When she couldn’t find a suitable plant-based replacement for her beloved shrimp croquettes, founder Mona decided to roll up her sleeves and create one herself. In the startup phase, the company enlisted STUDIO KELF to support them in building the brand.

BRIEF
Nomet has developed a unique and promising product with its seaweed croquettes. The product is fairly unknown to broader audiences, so we needed to spark curiosity. Playful elements were needed to educate consumers on the advantages of seaweed. The production process is not an easy one, so the packaging should indicate this is not your typical fast food.


APPROACH
The wordmark echoes the rugged shapes of seaweed, while the color palette—led by a deep green—nods to its premium positioning. To keep it approachable (and spark curiosity), we added playful illustrations with a grungy texture, hinting at the crispy coating of a croquette.




RESULT
The product has been nominated for multiple awards and is now available in many organic stores. Retail giant Bioplanet (Colruyt Group) also added them to their frozen product range. Go try them out!
